Sleep therapy is unique form of treatment that combines the wisdom of Traditional Chinese Medicine with the gentle bodywork of Shiatsu which together helps to completely relax your body & mind.

Sleep Therapy is a unique form of treatment that combines the wisdom of Chinese medicine with the gentle techniques of Shiatsu to completely relax and your Body and Mind.

Sleep Therapy works by supporting the nervous system which helps restore our eternal energy, affords us a good nights sleep and leaves us feeling refreshed come the morning.

Treatments take place in your home 90 minutes before your intended bedtime and consists of a short conversation where we talk about your life style and current Sleeping pattern, this is then followed by 60 minutes of hands on treatment which will contain.

·      Comforatble Sustained Pressure,

·      Assisted Stretching,

·      Acupoint Activation

·      Slow rocking Movements

 

You Remain Fully Clothed throughout the and once the treatment comes to close you are encouraged to go straight to bed.

How It Works

BSS Diploma in Shiatsu Therapy and Traditional Chinese Medicine

Toby is a Graduate of the British School of Shiatsu and Professionally registered member of Shiatsu Society UK.

He is passionate about Shiatsu and feels his practice helps increases his client’s health and vitality by nourishing the circulation of blood and energy to the tissues and vital organs.

Toby also uses his own form of daily breathing and gentle stretching exercises in between treatments to further strengthen his clients healing process.

He Whole Heartedly believes that Shiatsu offers people simple but powerful way to maintain their own health in a gentle and supportive way.

INTRODUCTION TO SHIATSU
What happens in a Shiatsu session?
A session usually begins with a discussion about your health. Normally this would include any specific problems you have, and a discussion of your work, family, eating and exercise patterns.
This is followed by the Shiatsu treatment which lasts Approximately 60 minutes.

What Conditions are Shiatsu good for?
Shiatsu is a safe and gentle therapy which can help with most conditions.
Here are just a few of the conditions that Shiatsu has proven helpful with:
Insomnia, Circulation problems, Headaches, Migraines, Back pain, Neck Tension , Joint and Muscular problems , Menstral pain, Abdominal discomfort , Digestives disorders, Asthma and Respiratory problems, Sports induries, Stress and Depression, Exhaustion and Fatigue Etc.
What should I wear?
You remain fully clothed. You should wear loose fitting clothing, preferably with long sleeves as your body temperature often drops a little during the treatment. Avoid wearing skirts or jeans and please leave sometime between eating before and having your treatment.
