Deep Tissue Massage

Deep tissue massage helps to relax muscles by breaking up and reducing adhesions. Deep Tissue Massage supports the removal of toxins and increases and improves blood circulation giving better transportation of nutrients throughout the body. The aim is to locate the cause of the pain and REMOVE tension in the muscle allowing the body to feel free in movement and sooth the body. Your massage Therapist uses deep massage strokes and stretching.


Shiatsu is a type of bodywork therapy. To support your circulation of energy which flows throughout the body pathways connecting with the vital organs. Shiatsu supports the physical body and has a great influence on our mental and emotional wellbeing. You are fully clothed in this therapy.

Lymphatic Drainage Massage

The lymphatic system is responsible for helping fluid and waste leave the body and for regulating the immune system. When the lymphatic system becomes blocked, fluid builds up and stagnates, causing the entire system to become toxic, making us feel sluggish and more susceptible to viral or contagious diseases. By stimulating this system through massage, it works more efficiently, which in turn boosts the immune system, clears blockages, eliminates toxins, transports nutrients to cells and increases the metabolism.

Mum to Be Massage

A treatment performed on the expectant mother after the 1st Trimester. It can be performed as a back, neck and shoulder or full body.

Post Pregnancy 

Relieves the normal discomforts after pregnacy- aches and pains and releases nervous tension plus supports a good nights sleep.

Baby Bowen Massage

Benefits may include:

  • children with better concentration,
  • babies and children have improved sleeping patterns,
  • enhanced motor control & behaviour,
  • leading to happier children. 

Some childhood ailments may require regular Bowen treatments.

A child's Bowen treatment is very gentle.  All treatments are carried out through light clothing, whilst the parent / guardian remains in the room.

Baby Massage Courses

Our baby massage courses offer a great way to be aware of and influence your baby's development through therapeutic play, give them relief from Colic and learn various techniques for giving loving touch and reassurance to your baby as well as help calm, relax, soothe and give relief where it may be needed. Baby massage helps strengthen family bonds, relieves common infant ailments, improves joint flexibility, muscle tone, back strength, circulatory and respiratory rhythms.
We offer the following as 4-week Courses consisting of a 1 hour class each week:
  • Holding & Reassurance Program Antenatal – For expecting mums
  • Holding & Reassurance Program Postnatal – For babies birth to 6 to 8 wks
  • Developmental Baby Massage – For babies 6 to 8 weeks to Standing
  • Baby Massage Plus – For babies from Standing to 13 months
  • Colic Baby Massage Clinic - For babies from 6 to 8 weeks onwards

Male Massage

This massage can incorporate any of the techniques listed on this page as well as sports massage, massage for gluteal muscles and tight hamstrings, loosening up of the sciatic nerve and calves. 

Hot Lava Shell Massage

This is a treatment of heat therapy using herbal teabags designed for unique porcelain shells activated with a liquid solution. The heat lasts for the length of the treatment which could be a back, neck and shoulder or full body. It benefits conditions of IBS, constipation it also assists in the detoxification of toxins from the body whilst boosting circulation.

Colonic cleanse massage

This special technique is used to relax you and to remove constipation. This gentle technique is a very powerful process. The massage is on the torso, focusing mainly on the abdomen using herbs and a warm shell which is used across the intestines. This is a great detox and done so naturally. You usually notice the effects once the massage is over.

Male upper core strength massage

Heated herbs are used to stimulate blood flow in the upper arms using a special type of shell.This process heps to create a balanced upper core strength.

Hawaiian Lomilomi Massage

This type of massage uses the palms and forearms at the same time so has a much larger coverage area and this feels so much more amazing for the client than just the palms. this technique is very slow, involves rocking and circular motions plus gentle passive stretches A unique and nurturing massage with soft and gentle yet firm movements will help to relax the whole body by removing energy blocks and restores the body's natural balance. Soft Tissue is anything in the body that is not hard tissue and includes tendons, ligaments, deep skin tissues, fascia, fibrous tissues, connective tissues e.g. synovial membranes, nerves, blood vessels, lymph vessels as well as muscles. Uriel Brodsky - Sports Massage and Deep Tissue Specialist

Uri has recently relocated to North London from Argentina, where he worked for 5 years from his clinic in Buenos Aires, specialising in deep tissue and sports massage. He is a qualified massage therapist and assistant physiotherapist.

He has worked with clients of all ages and in particular has helped many people with chronic neck and back pain, tendonitis, and RSI.

He can apply the strong pressure used in deep tissue massage for patients who have previously been disappointed by other therapists. He is also able to perform gentle massage for releasing stress and tension, as well as lymphatic drainage to remove waste fluids and toxins.

Swedish Massage
Esther uses an invigorating style of massage comprising of a number of techniques designed to relax the muscles and ease tension.

Her treatment involves using long flowing strokes often in the direction of the heart in order to increase circulation and blood flow. Treatment can be gentle and slow in nature or faster with more rhythymic strokes to promote healthy blood flow. Swedish is the most well known massage therapy and can be used with base oils or a combination of base oils and essential oils, creams or wax.
Deep tissue massage
This is a deeper treatment which reaches and benefits muscles beneath the superficial ones in order to relieve pain often from injury or chronic muscular strain.
It is very deep in it's level of pressure and is very popular among those training for sport, mums and dads carrying children and always being on the go and driving, those hunched over a laptop all day everyday or all of the above.
It's great for those hard to reach aches and pains and provides relief including stretching exercises and postural advice.
Manual Lymphatic Drainage
Esthers MLD treatment can help to reduce the swelling in your arms, legs or other parts of the body which are causing you pain.
MLD is also an effective water retention treatment and and can be a great aid to weight managment, help with pregnanacy and post pregnancy swelling, strengthen your immunity system, reduce hematomas due to post surgery and brings many more benefits.
MLD works on the Lymphatic vessels within the Lymphatic system by stimulating circulation, removing waste products from the superficial tissues to promote free flowing Lymph fluid, thus clearing the body of toxins.
This is an extremely gentle massage and involves very precise and specific movements which are so light it hardly feels as though you are being worked on. You may fall asleep as it's extremely relaxing and the urge to use the toilet during or immediately after treatment is not uncommon.

Toby is a Graduate of the British School of Shiatsu and Professionally registered member of Shiatsu Society UK.

He is passionate about Shiatsu and feels his practice helps increases his client’s health and vitality by nourishing the circulation of blood and energy to the tissues and vital organs.

Toby also uses his own form of daily breathing and gentle stretching exercises in between treatments to further strengthen his clients healing process.

What happens in a Shiatsu session?
A session usually begins with a discussion about your health. Normally this would include any specific problems you have, and a discussion of your work, family, eating and exercise patterns.
This is followed by the Shiatsu treatment which lasts Approximately 60 minutes.

What Conditions are Shiatsu good for?
Shiatsu is a safe and gentle therapy which can help with most conditions.

What should I wear?
